Welcome to a new year with the Symphony
League of Beaumont.
We are grateful for your support and want
you to know that the League has a place for you. Whether you
enjoy working with youth, raising funds to support the Symphony
of Southeast Texas, or serving on the Board, we need your
talents!
Some of the highlights of the upcoming year include the Past
Presidents’ Tea on October 12, the Debutante Ball on October 25,
Youth Concerts on February 3rd and 4th, and the String
Competition next spring. And, of course, you won’t want to miss
the always elegant Symphony Ball on February 7, 2009. This
year’s theme is “A Passage to India!” Make plans now to put a
table together and join us.
Last, but not least, please consider season tickets to the 56th
season of the Symphony of Southeast Texas. The Master Series
kicks off on October 18 with guest artist Adam Golka (piano) and
concludes on April 18, (guest artist to be announced), with a
tribute to Motown and R&B in between. Something for everyone!
We live in a great community. Thank you for being part of these
time-honored traditions as we welcome the new season and a new
year of excitement.
