Overview:

The department of general dentistry was established in 2004 when we completed this new building. We have two purposes to create this department. One is to provide patients a convenient and comfortable dental service. The other purpose is to found a clinical practice training centre for senior graduate students and general dentists all over the country.

Clinic: In this department, we provide almost whole range of dental services, including therapy of endodontics, operative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. By blending various areas of dentistry, almost all treatment will be carried out in this department, and patients will be delivered a convenient and comfortable dental service. Besides, the department also has an emergency room that provides 24 hours dental service. The patients with dental emergency, such as acute pulpitis, can get release here immediately.

Clinical training program: The department is also responsible for clinical training program of senior (the fifth year) students and continuing education. Senior dental students will receive training in almost all phases of general dentistry. Through this training program, students complete the basic training of a dental practice, and can be able to work as a general dentist independently. The department is also responsible for the advanced training of continuing education for dentists all over the country. The program involves advanced clinical treatment of patients requiring comprehensive general dental care, and the patients are treated under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Through the program they will improve their dental practice greatly.
