JEWEL BALL

For over 50 years the Women's Symphony League of Austin has sponsored the Jewel Ball. The ball is a tradition filled state-wide event which allows leagues to honor families who have supported their symphonies. This year the Symphony League of Beaumont is proud to be represented by Miss Ann Elizabeth Golias, daughter of Allison Nathan Golias and Joseph Hilton Golias, and granddaughter of Jerry and Iris Nathan and Tipton and Ann Golias. Miss Golias' jewel color is blue topaz. She is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin in the McCombs School of Business. Buffin is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority as well as Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor societies and participates in an after school program for disadvantaged students teaching a cooking class. Buffin enjoys exercise and cooking and is honored to be representing Beaumont.
