2006 NECHES RIVER FESTIVAL PRINCESSES
PRINCESS ANNIE ELIZABETH DISHMAN
Miss Annie Elizabeth Dishman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Curtis
Dishman, Jr., will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont-Youth
Programs in this year’s Neches River Festival. A 2005 Symphony
League
Debutante, Annie has also served as a Symphony League Youth Guild
member for the past 4 years. She is currently a senior at Monsignor
Kelly
Catholic High School where she is active in many extra-curricular
activities
and will graduate in the top ten percent of her class. She has
been involved in
the following activities: the Anchor Club, Honor Roll, Mu Alpha
Theta,
National Honor Society, Recruit Team, Retreat Team, SADD, Student
Council,
Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Yellow Ribbon
Club and
Young Life. Annie has also enjoyed playing volleyball and tennis
for Kelly for
the past four years. After graduation she will attend The University
of Texas
in Austin.
PRINCESS MORGAN ALEXIS GIBBS
Miss Morgan Alexis Gibbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lyndon
Gibbs,
will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont Board of Directors
in this
year’s Neches River Festival. A 2005 Symphony League Debutante,
Morgan
has also served as a Symphony League Youth Guild member. She is
currently
a senior at West Brook High School and has been involved in the
following
activities: National Honor Society, Student Council, Varsity Softball,
Varsity
Volleyball Manager, Academic Decathlon, Who’s Who Among American
High
School Students, Who’s Who Among American High School Students
Sports
Edition, and West Brook Diamond Darlings. After graduation she
will attend
Texas A & M University.
PRINCESS LYNSEY PAULINE GOTH
Miss Lynsey Pauline Goth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glenn
Goth,
will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont Past Presidents
in this year’s
Neches River Festival. A 2005 Symphony League Debutante, Lynsey
has also
served as a Symphony League Youth Guild member. She is currently
a senior
at West Brook High School and has been involved in the following
activities:
National Honor Society, Student Council, Varsity softball, and
West Brook Stars
drill team. After graduation she will attend Texas State University
where she
plans to pursue a degree in Fashion Merchandising.
PRINCESS KELLEY ANNE HENDERSON
Miss Kelley Anne Henderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dunford
Henderson, will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont-Ways
and
Means Committee in this year’s Neches River Festival. Kelley
is a senior at
Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School where she has been active
in
numerous organizations. Kelley, over the past four years, has taken
a
leadership role in the Shorkey Rehabilitation and Education Center’s
Christmas Card Sale. This year she served as a chairman for the
event. Kelley
is a member of Anchor Club, the Recruit Team, Students against
Destructive
Decisions, the Symphony Guild, and the Yellow Ribbon Club. Kelley
played
for the Varsity Tennis team at Kelly for three years and competed
at the state
level. She received the American History Award her junior year
as well as the
Citizenship award. This year, Kelley competed in the District TAPPS
Academic competition where she qualified to compete at the State
competition. As a senior, Kelley was also honored to participate
in the 2005
Symphony Debutante program. Kelley will attend Southern Methodist
University this fall where she received an academic merit scholarship.
PRINCESS MARY MARGARET MCCORMICK
Miss Mary Margaret McCormick, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul
McCormick, will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont in this
year’s
Neches River Festival. Mary Margaret was a 2005 Symphony Debutante,
member of the Youth Guild for four years, and a Symphony Belle.
As a student
of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, Mary Margaret has participated
in
numerous clubs and activities, including Varsity Tennis Team for
four years
and Anchor Club where she currently serves as Historian. She was
a member
of the school newspaper staff and currently is on the Yearbook
staff. As a
volunteer at the R. L. Shorkey Center she has been very active
in the Annual
Holiday Greeting Card Sale. Academically she has maintained her
honor roll
status for four years and is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, a mathematical
honor
society. She has served on Student Council, the Recruit and Retreat
Teams as
well as attending the John Mattingly Youth Leadership Conference.
Last
summer she attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on medicine.
After
graduation she plans to attend Southern Methodist University in
Dallas,
where she plans to pursue a degree in Medicine.
PRINCESS LAUREN KATHLEEN SMITH
Miss Lauren Kathleen Smith, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Leigh
Smith, will represent the Symphony League of Beaumont Executive
Officers in
this year’s Neches River Festival. A 2005 Symphony League
Debutante, Lauren
has also served as a Symphony League Youth Guild member. She is
currently
a senior at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School where she is active
in many
extra-curricular activities. Lauren has been involved in the following
activities: National Honor Society where she served as treasurer,
Students
Against Destructive Decisions, Yellow Ribbon Club, and Pink Club.
She has
also played soccer, tennis and basketball for Monsignor Kelly High
School.
After graduation Lauren plans to attend The University of Alabama.
PRINCESS LACEY MICHELLE TRUNCALE
Miss Lacey Michelle Truncale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Joseph
Truncale, will represent the Symphony of Southeast Texas Past Presidents
in
this year’s Neches River Festival. A 2005 Symphony League
Debutante, Lacey
has also served as a Symphony League Youth Guild member for the
past 4
years. Lacey is currently a senior at West Brook High School and
has been
involved in the following activities: National Honor Society, Academic
Honor
Roll, Key Communications Program, UIL Vocal Competition-Superior
Rating,
Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition-Silver Medalist, All
Region Mixed
Choir, Student Council, Rhapsody Choir, and Varsity Cheerleader.
She was
voted Who’s Who at West Brook High School by the West Brook
faculty. After
graduation Lacey plans to attend Texas Christian University.
