YOUTH CONCERTS
Third through fifth grade students will go on
a Musical History Tour January 18th and 19th at the Julie Rogers
Theater. There will be two performances each day starting at 9:30
a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Concerts are conducted by Christopher Zimmerman
and will feature fanfare and marches to gospel and blues music.
Lou Arrington will choreograph dances and Dr. Edwardo Garcia-Novelli
will provide vocalists for some of the pieces. The Symphony of Southeast
Texas will perform for approximately 6000 students.
