UPCOMING EVENTS
Dear Symphony League Friends:
My best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2004!
The Symphony is geared up for the new year and preparations are
underway for our January and February concerts. Each of these concerts
features an outstanding guest artist of international stature. In
January we will hear Dickran Atamian performing the Brahms Piano
Concerto No. 1. And in February, cellist Marcio Carniero will travel
from his home in Germany to perform with us in the Shostakovich
Cello Concerto No. 1. I hope you'll be with us for these incredible
evenings of music!
We are also busily planning the 2004-2005 season.
The most important change for next season is that we are moving
our concerts to Saturday evenings. I hope those of you with young
families will be able to take advantage of this new schedule. Our
Master Series dates are: October 16, November 20, March 5, and April
23. The Holiday Concert will be on December 17, and the Pops Concert
will be January 20. Mark your calendars, and be sure to purchase
your season tickets early. You'll receive announcements soon regarding
concert repertoire and season ticket purchases.
Thank you for your continued support of the
Symphony! I'll see you at the concert.
